Townsend Veteran Food Distribution – June 27, 2026
The SW Montana Veterans Food Pantry & Services is honored to host a free grocery distribution for veterans and veteran families in Townsend on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 42, located at 211 Broadway in Townsend, Montana.
This outreach distribution is designed to bring nutritious food and support services directly to veterans living in rural communities who may face barriers accessing assistance. Veterans attending are asked to please bring proof of veteran status in order to be served.
As a veteran-founded and veteran-focused organization, we recognize that many veterans struggle silently with rising living costs, transportation challenges, food insecurity, and isolation. Through our mobile distributions and outreach efforts across Southwest Montana, we work to ensure that veterans and their families have access to healthy food in an environment built on dignity, trust, and respect.
The SW Montana Veterans Food Pantry & Services operates with the belief that every veteran deserves support without stigma. Our grocery-store-style approach and community outreach programs are part of our mission to provide “a hand up, not a handout.”
